Workforce Development

Workforce

The City of Oregon- citizens and businesses alike- recognize that growth and development go hand in hand with an educated and skilled local workforce. The Northwest Ohio region, and more specifically Oregon, has both of those. Over 89% of the Oregon population have a high school and/or higher degree and 18% have a bachelors and/or higher degree (Information obtained by Census.gov). Oregon and the region are not without our challenges but through effective partnerships and working with state & local workforce boards and committees, we are able to provide companies with the skilled workers needed to grow their business.
