Convenient Transportation Options
With all forms of industrial transportation within the City of Oregon’s limits, it is affordable and easy to access most major US and international markets. This makes the City of Oregon an attractive location for companies of all sizes.
Highway
An extensive system of interstates and highways connects the City of Oregon to major cities and transportation hubs all over the US. With I-280 running through the City of Oregon connecting to I-75 and the Ohio Turnpike (I-80/90), the city lies at a major crossroads of the US. The city is also centrally located with nearly two-thirds of the US population being within 500 miles.
Rail
With two major rail companies owning rail in Oregon, it is easy to be connected to over 40,000 route miles of rail in 25 states plus Washington DC. With both CSX and Norfolk Southern combined, it is possible to reach nearly two thirds of the population if the United States as well as every major eastern ocean, river, and lake port terminal. Toledo houses one of CSX’s 10 largest terminal and rail yards by annual volume. Both CSX and Norfolk Southern are willing to help with site selection and planning in order to ensure that Oregon companies meet their distribution needs.

Seaport
The largest landmass seaport on the great lakes is located here on the border of Toledo and Oregon. The Port of Toledo is a full service seaport housing 15 terminal operators, a full service shipyard complete with two drydocks, and touting no restrictions on vessel length or height. Located within foreign trade zone 8, the port services 12 million tons of products per year bringing in $374.9 million in direct business revenue by firms directly dependant on the port. The Port of Toledo is run by the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority.

Airport
The Toledo Executive Airport is located just 10 minutes away from the City of Oregon and is used for corporate aviation, private aviation, and premium freight services. Crow Executive Air offers non-stop flights coast to coast and world-wide expedited air cargo of any size.
The Toledo Express Airport is a civil-military airport located in Swanton and Monclova townships 10 mi west of Toledo in western Lucas County, Ohio. This smaller passenger airport is located 30 minutes away from the City of Oregon.
The Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is one of the world’s leading air transportation hubs with more than 1,100 flights per day to and from four continents. DTW is located just 45 minutes away from the City of Oregon.
